Ein Mädchen, das vom Leben ihres verstorbenen Großvaters fasziniert ist, findet in dem Haus ihrer Kindheit ein Bündel von Briefen, die Soldaten und Gefangene an ihre Verwandten, Freunde, Geliebten... schrieben und die ihre Adressaten nie erreicht haben.
Sie findet auch das Notizbuch ihrer Großmutter, in dem sie die Lebensgeschichten von Frauen aufschrieb, die sich als Männer ausgaben, um all das zu tun, was ihnen damals verboten war.
Das Mädchen begibt sich auf eine Zeitreise, bei der sie die Schrecken der chilenischen Diktatur erlebt, doch auch Hoffnung in den Geschichten jener Frauen findet, die den Mut hatten, ihr Schicksal und ihre Zeit herauszufordern.

O fată, fascinată de viața bunicului ei decedat, găsește în casa copilăriei sale un mănunchi de scrisori pe care soldații și prizonierii le scriau rudelor, prietenilor, iubiților... și care nu ajungeau niciodată la destinație.
De asemenea, fata găsește caietul bunicii sale, în care aceasta obișnuia să scrie poveștile de viață ale unor femei deghizate în bărbați, care își doreau să facă ceea ce lor le era interzis pe atunci. Protagonista pornește într-o călătorie de-a lungul generațiilor afectate de ororile dictaturii chiliene, dar și de speranța poveștilor acelor femei care au avut curajul de a-și sfida destinul și timpul.

A girl, fascinated by her deceased grandfather’s life, finds in her childhood house a bunch of letters that soldiers and prisoners wrote to their relatives, friends, lovers… and that never reached their destination.
She also finds the notebook of her grandmother, where she used to write the life stories of women who pretended to be men in order to do everything that was forbidden for them back then. Thus following the traces of ink and old paper she will embark on a journey through generations, going through the horrors of the Chilean dictatorship but also finding hope in the stories of those women who had the courage to challenge their destiny and their time.
